Tanizaki Junji (谷崎(たにざき) 純治(じゅんじ)) is a reserve forward for Eito Gakuen.

Appearance[]

He has blue-green hair with some white lines in his hair and his eyes are closed. Like his other teammates, he wears glasses.

Plot[]

He first appeared in episode 5 with his team during the match against Raimon. His team was ordered by Fifth Sector to win the match with a score of 3-0. Tanizaki wasn't seen playing because he was sitting on the bench. At the end of the match, Eito won with 3-1, after Shindou Takuto scored one goal for Raimon, which was against Fifth Sector's order.

  • Item: Eito Shoes icon Eito Shoes (えいとシューズ, can be obtained in a treasure chest in Eito Gakuen)

After this, he can be scouted for an amount of 150 Yuujou points.

  • His name, Tanizaki Junji, is derived from 谷崎潤一郎, which, in turn, means Tanizaki Junichirou, a Japanese novelist, a reference to Eito Gakuen's naming motif.
    • His dub name, Dar Wynne, is derived from Charles Darwin, a British naturalist, which is also a reference to Eito Gakuen's dub naming motif.
