Murakami Gunki (村上(むらかみ) 軍紀(ぐんき)) is a midfielder for Kaiou Gakuen.

Appearance[]

He has dark red hair tied into a ponytail by a green elastic, dark skin and black eyes.

Personality[]

Just like most members of Kaiou, they are loyal to Fifth Sector. Murakami seems to be rather pretentious and confident. He also seems to be caring for the team, just as most members in the team.

Plot[]

He played against Raimon along with Kaiou in the Kanto preliminaries finals of the Holy Road tournament. During the match, he had the ball stolen by Kurumada's Dash Train.

Though in the end, his team, Kaiou lost with 4-3.

  • His surname, Murakami, is derived from 村上水軍, which, in turn, means Murakami Navy, a Japanese pirate group, a reference to Kaiou Gakuen's naming motif.
    • His dub name, Santelmo Phyre, is derived from Saint Elmo's fire, a weather phenomenon in which a discharge appears on a ship during a storm, which is also a reference to Kaiou Gakuen's naming motif.
