Minoshima Toshiya ((
Appearance[]
Minoshima is average in height. He has tanned skin, red hair with gravity-defying spikes and his eyes are usually closed. He also wears a blue, striped headband.
Plot[]
Minoshima was at the football ceremonial entry for the nationals of the Football Frontier along with his teammates. Before the match with Inakuni Raimon began, all Tonegawa Tousen's players gathered around their captain Endou Mamoru, who encouraged them to fight. When the match started, Raimon quickly made an attempt to shoot but Endou managed to block them, not even using hissatsu technique. Tonegawa kept passing with precision, showing everyone perfect teamwork which made a big impression on Inakuni Raimon's players. In Sakanoue's flashback, it was seen how they met with Endou for the first time when he prepared for training a huge pile of tires. They were surprised when Endou explained what was his plan to strengthen Japan and face the world. They all got excited that they could take part in the tournament if they worked hard but at the same time they doubted whether it was possible since their soccer club was completely new. Their conversation ended with a quarrel and Endou calmed them down. As he stated Tonegawa Tousen reminded him his former soccer club Raimon and he chose them to built everything from scratch. Although most of them were just amateurs, Endou promised to teach them all that he knew about soccer.
With Endou's support the team was motivated and ready to action. Sakanoue rushed towards the opponent's goal but he failed to shot. When Raimon counterattacked, Endou easily protected the goal and encouraged the team to keep fighting with Tonegawa scoring the first goal quickly after. When the second half of the match started, both teams were fighting fiercely but Raimon was in disarray. Unlike them Tonegawa's players were still supporting each other. Later Raimon managed to score the first goal, tying with Tonegawa 1-1, but later were unable to score another since Endou evolved his technique Fuujin Raijin and easily stopped Raimon's attempt. Although at the end, Tonegawa's players were really exhausted they didn't give up and fought to the bitter end. The last Raimon's shot was too powerful for Endou and Tonegawa lost with 2 points. Despite this, they were still happy and satisfied that thanks to Endou they went high.
