He seems to be overconfident, along with the whole team, though, they finally remembered their soccer and started playing their own, and did not follow the strategizing, after seeing Minamisawa's determination.
Plot
As a member and one of the defenders of Gassan Kunimitsu, he's first seen with the jacket of his team when they entered the train to the stadium.
As a member and player of Gassan Kunimitsu, he, along with his team, played against Raimon in the first Holy Road nationals match. He was not one of the four players performing the Tactics Cycle hissatsu tactic. However, the tactic was eventually broken by Kirino's strategizing and Gassan Kunimitsu lost the match 3-2 to Raimon.
