Appearance[]
Kaizu is quite short in height and has pink hair with blue bangs, and is tied into a blue ponytail by a yellow elastic. He has big, black eyes.
Personality[]
Just like most members of Kaiou, he is loyal to Fifth Sector. Kaizu also seems to be caring for the team, just as most of his teammates do.
Plot[]
As he is one of Kaiou's members, he plays against Raimon in the Kanto preliminary finals of the Holy Road tournament.
He first appears in episode 19, passing the ball to another member of Kaiou. After one of the members scores a goal against Raimon, he smiles at their achievement, like most other members of Kaiou.
In the end, however, Kouichirou's team lost the match with 4-3.

In order to recruit Kaizu, the following requirements are needed:
- Item: Raging Waves' Bottle Ship (荒波のボトルシップ, randomly dropped from Kaiou Gakuen in Furukabu's upper taisen route)
- Manual: Sargasso
- Item: Omamori Pendant (おまもりペンダント, can be bought at Teikoku Gakuen)
After this, he can be scouted for an amount of 1120 Yuujou points.

Incidentally, the Kanji character for "Kou", 航, in his forename, Kouichirou, means navigate, a reference to his profile.- His dub name, William Kidd, is a reference to the eponymous a Scottish pirate, which is also a reference to Kaiou Gakuen's naming motif.
