Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone (イナズマイレブンGO クロノ・ストーン) is the sequel of Inazuma Eleven GO that takes place three months after the event of the Holy Road tournament.

Summary[]

The story begins with following Raimon's success on the Holy Road soccer tournament. Tenma returns to Raimon Junior High, but finds out that things have changed. The Raimon members are not soccer players anymore. In fact, there is no soccer club at the school. Shinsuke and the others are in a different club from Tenma. Is this a parallel world? Tenma wonders.

That's when Alpha appears before him.

The organisation called El Dorado is an organisation formed by the future world's countries to deal with important matters of world affairs, and for some reason, they've determined that soccer must be destroyed. To do so, they have assigned Alpha and his team, Protocol Omega to the mission of ridding soccer from the world.

The Football Frontier International Vision 2 is held on Inazuma Eleven GO Galaxy, but Japan faces a big challenge as Inazuma Japan's members are complete beginners.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike the original Inazuma Eleven series following Endou Mamoru, where each season counted it's episodes from the final episode of the previous seasons, Chrono Stone's episodes begin at episode 1 instead of counting from where GO finished. This trend continued in GO Galaxy where it's first episode began at episode 1 again too.
  • This is the only series that has two alternate opening theme songs. Odd numbered episode up to episode 17 has the opening theme song Jounetsu de Mune ATSU! and even numbered episode up to episode 18 has the opening theme song Kandou Kyouyuu!.
  • This is the only series that uses the ending theme of the original series, Seishun Oden.
  • In Animage GRAND PRIX 2012, it was the 1st place of Best anime.
    • The following year, in 2013, it placed the 3rd.
