Plot[]
He first appeared in episode 41 with the rest of the team playing against Raimon in the finals. At the end of the episode, the score was tied due to the fact that Kurosaki scored a goal with Ballista Shot and Tsurugi with Death Drop, which Shoot Break couldn't stop it.
In episode 42, at the end of the first half, the score was tied again due to the fact that Kurosaki released his Keshin and scored with Bakunetsu Storm and Nishiki released his Keshin too and scored with Bushin Renzan. He didn't appear in the second half because Seidouzan was replaced by Dragonlink.

In order to recruit Hozumi, the following requirements are needed:
- Item: Passionate Coach's Teaching (熱血コーチの教え, randomly dropped from Seidouzan in Furukabu's lower taisen route)
- Item: Rakuen no Pendant (らくえんのペンダント, can be obtained in a treasure chest in the Sand Path to the Desert Stadium)
- Item: Eikou no Shoes (えいこうのシューズ, randomly dropped from Circus Club (サーカスクラブ) at the Yuugi Path to the Pinball Stadium)
- Manual: Claymore
After this, he can be recruited for an amount of 2800 Yuujou points.
