- His surname, Furou, is derived from プロメテウス (read as "Purometeusu"), which, in turn, is the Japanese pronunciation of Prometheus, the Greek Titan of forethought and crafty counsel, a reference to Seidouzan's naming motif.
- His dub forename, Pallas, is a reference to the eponymous Greek Titan of warcraft, which is also a reference to Seidouzan's naming motif.
