The elements are one of the most basic features of the Inazuma Eleven universe. They can be attributed to most characters and hissatsu and they affect your interactions against characters of other elements.

Mechanics[]
The elements system works as a rock-paper-scissors system. Whenever a character interacts with another, they will get a boost or a penalty based on their element. For example, if a wood character attempts to dribble a wind character, since wood beats wind, then the wood player will receive a small boost in power. This elemental advantage over another player only takes into account the player's element, not the element of the hissatsu. If a character uses a move from the same element as they are (for example, a fire character using a fire hissatsu), they will receive a small boost in power. Furthermore, on an interaction in which there are multiple supporting characters (like a block/dribble state in which there are two or three players of the same team around), their support boost will get even better if the players are from the same element.
Trivia[]
- The original 4 elements are taken from Fuurinkazan (
風林火山 ). - While there are no usable void characters, in the Chrono Stone game there is a triceratops whose element is void. The other dinosaurs have normal elements.
