Anime Episode 039

Dark Tornado (ダークトルネード, Dāku Torunēdo) is a shoot hissatsu technique.

Inazuma Eleven 2

  • "This mysterious prohibited move burns up everything in black fire!"

This was used during the match of Dark Emperors and Raimon. It scored a goal by breaking through Mugen The Hand.

Later it was used in the representive match against Inazuma Japan A but it was stopped by Endou thanks to Tobitaka.

Later, in episode 127, he evolved it to 真 Dark Tornado, but failed due to Endou's 真 Ijigen The Hand.

Dark Tornado is very similar to Fire Tornado. The user leaps and spins vertically upwards in the air with the ball covered with dark, purple flames, unlike the orange flames from Gouenji's Fire Tornado. The user then kicks the ball towards the goal.

  • In the games, in terms of camera perspective, Dark Tornado looks identical to Fire Tornado until the user finally kicks the ball, at which camera is placed at the goal and looking at the kicker, with the ball zooming towards the camera (unlike in Fire Tornado, where the perspective changes to behind the kicker looking at the goal). In the Inazuma Eleven Strikers series, the perspective is completely identical to Fire Tornado.
